Space Ghost? Herculoids? WTF man? Where are they?? What about Alf?? I loved that more than the damn show. The Real Ghostbusters is probably my fave. Some of these I've never heard of and this is my time frame.

Space Ghost wasn't 80s, Alf was is in it and didn't make it out of the first round. I've never even heard of Herculoids, looked it up, and it's 60s.

Wow. I was way off . Watched them as a kid and assumed they were from 80s. Thunder Cats, Real Ghostbusters, GIJOE, transformers, and mask I remember watching after school and on Saturdays. Alf was hilarious.
I've been binge watching Band of Brothers on the History Channel and using my liver to clean out my liquor cabinet all day, so I think I'll voice my opinion on how wrong some of you are about your cartoon preferences.
How did The Real Ghostbusters end up a #2 seed? While I remember liking it, it was still just a cheap knockoff of a movie.
Rambo, the Hulk Hogan cartoon, Pac-Man, Teen Wolf, and countless others were all just mindless uncreative money-grab fluff that didn't even pretend to be high quality. With that saying I watched and enjoyed all of them, but advancing to the 3rd round seems a bit of stretch
Also, Shirt Tales and MASK were terrible. Neither should have made it out of the nomination round. With that said, the alternatives in those rounds were just as bad.
The Littles, Snorks, Heathcliff, both She-Ra & Richie Rich (which should run away with this one), both Dungeons & dragons and Scooby & Scrappy Doo (which should win but probably won't), Ghostbuster and Alvin & the the Chipmunks (which should win this one), the loser of Teen Wolf vs. Garfield, and even the Care Bears are all better than Shirt Tales and MASK.
I don't fault Fat Bib Fortuna. It's impossible to seed these things without each person on this board thinking a few good ones got a bad matchup and a few bad ones got an easy win in an early round. I sincerely appreciate you (and all the others who put these types of competitions together) for all your hard work to entertain us.

I believe seeding is based on the percentage of votes received during the group stage.

GI Joe would have been my pick in the 80s, but after watching a lot of childhood cartoons with my kids, Thundercats is a much better show.
