Anybody need an inexpensive acoustic guitar?

Replaced my Strat with my current 50's strat and my other DGT is just so much better, so I never really play this other one.

Yeah, those Stupid Deals of the Day are something you have to grab that day.

Lol... I was listing a bunch of other things that I have just sitting around. Listed my Zvex Box of Rock pedal that I bought for $130. I was an idiot and didn't check the current price for these and listed mine at $130. Was snagged immediately. After a quick search, I'm seeing these things go for over $200. Haha, oh well. Someone just got a great deal!

That's one of my favorite colors they do. I wish my Tremonti was a better representation of it. It ended up being more like a blend of that and Trampas Green.

Normally, I would. But got laid off a few months ago so I'm working contract. And my wife would be super mad if I grabbed one. Since I WFH now with this gig, I can't hide it like when I had some shipped to my old office. And my "well if I work 2 extra hours I could pay for it" doesn't fly, since she wants to go on a vacation. lol

Just never gelled with the tone and feel. I have 3 other CS teles that are far superior, I just love the candy green finish.

That finish is awesome.

Hey, Lathspell! How did the Little Sister complement the TK? I've been eyeing Friedmans for a while and the LS seems to tick the boxes to get a more Marshall tone.

I'm not searching for crazy metal tones. The new Jose 20 covers a lot of ground, so I'm looking at that too. Obviously it hits those high gain areas when I do get the itch to go a bit wild. Can't tell where if any it would overlap with the TK.

It's a fantastic amp if that's the sound you're looking for. I do really like the amp a lot, but my issue is I just keep going back to the Imperial. There's just something about the sound and dynamics of my Kaluna II going into my Imperial's lead channel that is the perfect tone, to my ears. There's a warmth from tweed style circuits that I love and the Kaluna injects the clarity and gain sound of a classic Marshall, giving me this amazing hybrid of the two.

There's just something about EL84-based circuits that I always tend to move away from. Almost a more brittle sound? I wonder if an amp like the Tone King Royalist would have a warmer tone, because it's using EL-34 tubes instead of EL-84 tubes to try and sound as close to an EL-34 as possible.

Where I really notice the superior warmth and feel of the Imperial/Kaluna pair is when rolling the volume back on my guitars. The dynamics and warmth I get from my guitars when doing this with the Imperial is far superior to the Little Sister. This is extremely important for me because I love to dial in my perfect gain sound, then use my guitar pots to roll down to an edge of breakup sound. That's generally where I play for fun. I don't like multi-channel amps as much.

But that's all personal preference. It all comes down to the sound you have in your head and what gets your there. I will say, I spent years looking for that perfect amp and I have yet to supplant that combination as my primary signal chain.
