I don't know anyone swept up in it, but one of my good friends and business partners produced this podcast. He's a co-founder of Campside, the company behind it, and this is their first ever podcasts. So it's super cool to see this pop up here like this. It (the con) makes no sense at all.
Sad that it seemingly existed just to crap on the little guy.
Its almost like a real life version of the kind of scams you see in movies like trading places.
