Beautifully shot documentary of a man in South Africa who forms a bond with a wild octopus and follows it over its life.
8.5 on IMDB right now, would recommend especially if you are a fan of nature, it's only 85 minutes or so.

Would you say appropriate for kids under 6? Saw this on my kids' profile this weekend and was shocked considering some of the reviews I've read about it.

Depends.
There is nothing Offensive in it, but very circle of life. Animals attacked, injured, dying, suffering etc. and questions on how much to help or let nature take its course, which might bother some.

Watched this documentary on the recommendation of my granddaughter.

I thought it was very well done. Fascinating.

It's rated 100/95 on Rotten Tomatoes.
