Truly awful remake. On the other hand, Hollywood has had a pretty good record in successfully remaking '50s Sci Fi/Creature Features; The Thing, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Fly. Little Shop of Horrors.

I think the worst remake is Point Break. The 2015 version didn't have a story and the action scenes weren't worth watching.

I am completely ok with that. I loved the original and I remember being incredibly excited about the remake. Then I watched it and thought it was the worst movie I have ever seen. How do they kill Thor halfway through it?

I shouldn't be this enraged by it, but I am.
