I am a fully self-aware Jack White fanboy. He's a freaking genius. However, The White Stripes > Jack solo. Why? Meg held him back. Kept his really out there experimentation contained.

Likewise, the Raconteurs. The rest of the band, while extremely good musicians, aren't JWiii. But he had to play with them, not above them, and because of that made a darn good, if criminally under appreciated, rock band.

I can't enjoy a band if I hate somebody in it.

I guess Ace Frehley is an annoying ****-up, but I don't hate him. Thats about as close as I can get right now.

Ha. Meg white is the entire reason I can't stand the white stripes. As a drummer, to clarify I'm a hack, it pissed me off knowing she was getting paid to be In a rock band when I could totally do everything she did.

My hatred of the white stripes is completely seeded in jealousy and I admit it.
