I totally did not see the twist coming. It was a bit over the top, but honestly not completely unbelievable.

I'm trying to finish up my complete Battletech read. I'm on book 60, "Imminent Crisis", with three to go. There are two zip files under that I'm afraid to open, though, Battlecorps Series and Dark Age.

Another one to I'm looking forward to this year is The Trouble with Peace. If you haven't read Joe Abercrombie give him a shot.

They are way good! Can't wait to start on Edgedancer and Oathbringer, but I am trying to pace myself so I don't have a huge wait for #4.

I couldn't resist the temptation to read these again after hearing that #4 will be out this fall. I binged them in about a week earlier this month and expect I'll reread Oathbringer the week before #4 is out.

Anyone find themselves rereading fantasy series right now rather than taking a gamble on something new? I have previewed probably 7-8 books this month and haven't found anything solid.

Here is my plan to reread list for 2020...

Stormlight Archives(done)
Psion Series - Gowans (done)
Broker Empire Trilogy - Lawrence (done, started at end of 2019)
A Little Hatred - Abercrombie
The Grisha 1 & 2 - Bardugo
Daevabad 1 & 2 - Chakraborty *book 3 out in May*
The Belgariad Trilogy - Eddings
Wolf of the North Trilogy - Hamilton
War Cry - McClellan
A Mark of Kings - O'Connor/Chmilenko
Dawn of Wonder - Renshaw *really need book 2 to come out, my favorite read of 2019*
Rage of Dragons - Winter *book 2 out in June*

I'll prob find something new to throw in here(DEFINITELY open to suggestions) but this is my list for now. I travel a lot for work and reading is my preferred distraction.

I Heard You Paint Houses, by Charles Brandt. The book that the Netflix movie The Irishman is based on. Makes a very good case for being the definitive explanation for the Hoffa disappearence. The shear volume of mafia activity that Frank Sheeran claimed/ was involved in is staggering.

A guy in my office lent me Galaxy's Edge: Black Spire Outpost - quick read, good but not great. It's pretty much an add for Disney's Star Wars land. I would recommend it if you are going to Disney, it's kinda cool to get some history of the new land.
