JI'm also well read enough to not be scared off by some of the word choices she makes.
Don't even understand this comment. And ultimately its not the vulgarity that's the problem. The problem, as someone else succinctly pointed out earlier, is that her whole act is to make lame, hacky comments in a weird voice as if that makes them funny.
Let's just say that after seeing many comics whose schtick is on par with fart jokes, it's refreshing to see a comedian who will stick a few words in there to accentuate a point where you're like - ouch, she just took my brain in a totally different direction and I had to actually know some vocabulary that was several levels above bathroom humor.
Her voices were pretty appropritate and if you've spent as much time as I have around young ladies/young women/millenials/Gen Z, her voices were dead on. To include, I loved the little thumb typing fake tweet comments that she would inject as reactions after making a joke that would be uncomfortable for the aforementioned posse.
You might not be the target demo(graphic) but, her stuff is pretty damn funny. I've you've got a wife, I recommend trying a little sample with her.
Which reminds me, her bit about "the metric" system and ordering in a foreign language just happened to me at a work dinner a couple months ago with a guy from Hong Kong. He had only eaten steak ordered in ounces before and couldn't do the conversion from 220g steak into oz. He had to ask me to convert it for him because he knew I spoke American.
