Yet another Netflix special.

Yet again, just the preview alone was enough to make me wanna pass. How does she keep getting these things made. She is brutally unfunny. Only thing I can think of is because she's got such a hot body.

I saw her live a couple years ago at The Comedy Store and it was much better than any of her specials. There are a few comics I've seen like that.

Wife and I tried to watch a while back and only made it a few minutes. Her, Amy Schumer, And Niki Glazer are awful to me. I don't want to hear about how nasty your vagina is over and over again.

Some funny stuff is said every once and a while .... but

The vast majority of material involves whats going in-and-out of their bodily orifices.

I completely disagree. This was her best one yet talking about marriage/wedding day.

I'm about to get married and a ton of what she said was spot on in our house. She's not for everyone, but me and the lady loved watching it. Highly recommend.

Count yourself lucky. She's the typical female comedian these days who gets by with the predictable, obvious, unoriginal, unfunny jokes about being a female. Take away her looks and skin shots on social media and she'd be playing hack clubs in Toledo, Ohio.

These kinds of comics are horrible. They think being disgusting is funny. It's not.

Nikki Glazer is actually funny though. I get it if you don't like her comedy, but she doesn't deserve to be grouped with those other 2...

Saw her several times when I lived in LA and really enjoyed Elder Millennial...didn't know she had a new special out so thanks for the heads up!

(Not sarcasm...I get that she's not for everyone but I'm in her demo so it's usually pretty relatable.)

I'll agree with you that she doesn't really do "muh vagina" jokes. The best way i can think to describe it, she reminds me of a female Dane Cook.

1. Point out relatable thing, wait for applause break.
2. Over-the-top silly voice or sound effect relating to the thing.
3. Over-the-top physical "comedy" of some sort relating to the thing.
4. Rinse, Repeat.

There are very few actual jokes or punchlines. I guess you could make an argument that it's "observational comedy".... if it were funny....

EDIT: Just searched Youtube and this is the first video that popped up. There are barely any jokes here. Every laugh she gets here relies on a silly voice or something physical.

I think she relies heavily on speaking directly to her target audience for laughs. Every joke I've heard from her is somehow about being a youngish woman. Since I'm not a youngish woman, I often don't get it. I don't think she's terrible, but I think she fails to make her routines relatable to anyone outside her narrow target audience.

I watched Elder Millenial and thought it was decent. It was a lot of "she's right. *****es be crazy". So She isnt the greatest, But there are a lot worse comedians out there.

The 'here's your sign" guy comes to mind. The skinny guy that always wears a suit comes to mind.

I cant even keep up with the media I want to watch, I dont have time to worry about content I dont want to watch.

Dismissing her as a vagina joke comic is just ignorant sexism.

The elder millennial special was good, was the first one I watched. Her others haven't been as good.

Saw her at the Hollywood Improv and she was one near the bottom of the acts that night.

What is annoying is she just makes voices too much, high pitch, then low pitch, constantly, shes overdoing it and it's annoying.

Bingo. That's the entire act. And she does it with tired jokes. Way too hacky.

I love comedy. I think she's decent but not great. Nothing wrong with that though. Comedy is so broad, there's room for every style, every demographic. Good for her for finding her niche.

As for females, I've really found myself enjoying Jen Kirkman lately. She was one I turned on without knowing who she was and ended up watching an entire special and then have gone back and listened to more. Something about her stuff just keeps me tuned in.

The "Here's your sign" stuff is probably Engvall's worst material. The rest of his stuff is actually pretty good. I did get to the point of turning his specials off when he started the sign stuff though. Thankfully he made it wasy by always putting it at the end.

John Mulaney is one of the best standups in the business right now. Not sure where you're dislike of him comes from. His specials are killer.

Not only that, other comics respect the hell out of him. From all the comedy stuff I ingest, he seems to be universally named by other comics as one of the best in the business.

Mulaney is my favorite mellinial comedian right now.

Second the vote on Mulany being one of the best "newer" acts out there.

I'm not saying I wouldn't **** her, but I probably wouldn't stick around for her routine.

Also, have you ever considered that maybe you're just not her target audience? That's the beauty of comedy... It's subjective.
