Hello all,
I'd like to share a playlist of (classical avant-garde) musical compositions by TAMU students using a programming technique called bytebeat, which is limited to a single line of computer code. We've been exploring how to get the most musical potential out of this very challenging approach. Even though it's very lo-fi and was possible since the 1950s, this approach went unexplored until this decade! For those interested, the playlist also includes some tutorials and demonstrations.
My department encouraged me to share our students' explorations with the TAMU community:
