Absolutely. I think that's why This Is Us is such a hit. Jack and Randall set the tone for their homes, they are strong dads who are there for their family. It's rare today.BoomGoesThe said:

Even with Home Improvement, one of my favorite shows as a kid, Tim was a loving dad that supported his family underneath all the grunting and epic fail home projects.
But too many shows today portray the dad's as strictly goofy or distant. They have no wisdom. They're just an old kid. Very sad. Just like that stupid Gillette ad that backfired massively.
