So is it just me or does it seem like Karl Urban is doing a Captain Jack Sparrow impersonation? This is likely how Karl Urban actually speaks but I keep thinking of Johnny Depp when he speaks.

Have watched episode 1 so far, pretty good.

I've made it through two episodes, and I absolutely love this show.

I was half expecting Translucent's insides to turn to mush inside his diamond skin.

Yeah. I watched it last night and could not stop watching. Something I found out, Seth rogen and Evan Goldberg are the creators for this show which explains some of the dark humor. Anthony Starr impressed me with his character.

Episode 3 was solid, but not quite as bold as the first two. It felt like some excellent glue to get the pieces of the story moving in the right direction.

that ending, though. head crushing orgasms are pretty hilarious

Really enjoying it

Since the plot points and humor are from the comics, I hope they have enough for a few more seasons.

And dammit if Hughie doesn't walk just like Meg Ryan. In episode 8 following Anne out of the church it was like I had a flashback to Joe Versus the Volcano. Lol.

Also, did anyone notice the lower crawl while Deep was apologizing?

It's funny to see Chance Crawford referred to as TR's BIL. He had a career well before that.

I noticed that someone put a 2 sentence summary of the 8th episode on Wikipedia. I assume it's the last scene in episode 8.

Oh man, just finished it. On one hand, I couldn't stop watching it. OTOH, holy cliffhanger.
