It's a fair question there hasn't been a great sonic game to come out in recent memory. I'm pretty sure even the sega genesis generation doesn't have much interest in this.

Sonic and related SEGA video games were featured on the Nintendo Switch including the recent Super Smash Bros Ultimate that came out a few months ago. Sonic also had appearances in the Disney's Wreck-It Ralph movies too.

I hate Trump and I also hate Jim Carrey (the person...I have always liked JC the actor). He's a ****ing lunatic and it only takes a quick visit to his instagram to see that.

Kick-Ass 2. He shot the whole movie and then started campaigning against it for gun violence like 2 months before it previewed.

It already wasn't that great a movie, and that pretty much sunk any chances of a third. Sucks too, because I liked the first one, one of the first times I had liked Nic Cage in a movie in a while.

It's insane to me why people allow their politics to interfere with their entertainment. You don't have to agree with Jim Carey on Trump or gun control to like Ace Ventura, Lemony Snicketts, or Me, Myself and Irene. Dude is a comedy legend and I've never seen a comedy role he was in be bad. Get out of your own way people. Just enjoy life, love others and stop worrying if someone else agrees with you or not. I'll probably take my daughter to see this entirely BECAUSE Jim Carey is in it and I think he is funny.

I don't have a problem with actors that are against guns. Or really any actor that has political beliefs different from mine. I think you are a ****ty human being though if you take a paycheck from a movie that is obviously going to have crazy amounts of guns in it, shoot it, and then two months from the premiere go out and campaign specifically against it. Like if Chris Evans came out a month ago and told people to not see the new Avengers because his character displays too much patriotism, I would think he's a pretty ****ty person too.

Anyways, this movie looks terrible.

Gangsta's Paradise seems really out of place in that trailer. Weird that Coolio didn't want Weird Al to parody the song, but approved it in Sonic the movie.

I agree he looked dumb but I wonder how much of a financial difference it really would have made. I can't see kids under 10 refusing to see this movie because it's not a faithful representation of the original character.
