Love this show.

I was disappointed in the first episode of the new season. I loved the first season, and know that it is a dark comedy, but the first episode was all dark and no comedy.

The frenchmen investigators cracked me up with how full of themselves they are. I also love the parts of this show where John is narrating what's going on on screen in a song. Really liked this season.

I thought the first season was great, I just started season two. So far, so good.

They needed a better recap season

Im 4-5 episodes into Season 1. I really really like this show.

The humor, mixed in with the suspense is great. His office mate 'Dennis' cracks me up.

All the characters play their part really well.

Does John stay so 'flat' the entire show? He seems to be in a trance in every scene. Wondering if he snaps out of that at some point, or if that's just his character throughout.

Just got finished watching the first season. It's a lot like Barry. Black ops guy being forced into an ever increasing failure of an operation and how he is expected to juggle all of the pieces of his personal and professional double lives.

It's about a guy trying to prevent Iran from going nuclear, but doing so while posing as an employee at a piping company (which he knows nothing about).

It's like a show about an undercover agent, but it's a dark comedy at the same time.

At it's core, the show is about the inherent difficulty of delivering an entity from point A to point B. It's basically Wes Anderson makes a spy show.

I challenge anyone to provide a better summary than that.

Also, it's a ****ing riot and has some awesomely shot cinematography.

I couldn't get past episode 4 of the 2nd season, and I loved the first season

I thought season 2 was a lot darker than season 1, but I still really liked it. The episode where they have a bachelor party for his brother was great.

I just Finished season 2 and I think I liked it more than season 1.

I really like the way they brought everyone in on everything.

Wish season 3 was on the way.

Love how different this show is. Definitely a darker season but he's spiraling....

I enjoyed it. Watched both seasons since last weekend when I saw this thread. What do I watch now? (That's not a superhero movie).

Crap, I just finished season 2 of this not knowing it was canceled.

Then I read they replaced it with the Jack Ryan show? What a joke.

Funny to see this bumped to the top. I just finished a re-watch of the show last weekend. Absolutely fantastic show in my opinion, but I do get that it is not for everyone.

Maybe Prime bumped it up to the top of the suggestions and new people like you and me are noticing for the first time. Me and my son were watching together over Christmas break and we were hooked the moment Lakeman started singing his folk song about Ahmadinejad and the male house keeper.

To me, much of the premise was complete bullcrap. Of COURSE the CIA could get guns into France. You don't need to take one off a of a shop keeper. But I don't care. Singing that "easy" song made it worth it anyway.

Also, I told my wife that at some point, some woman is going to get her ass kicked with a bicycle. And sure enough it happened. I was pleased.

Then at the end, I looked on my phone when I could expect a season 3. Then got pissed.

I was excited when I saw this thread, thought the show was coming back. Definitely one of the most underrated and under appreciated shows of the streaming era.

I loved the dry humor of that show. It was perfect to go along with the heavy feel of the plot. Michael Dorman was perfect for that role.

'The Guns of Paris' episode in season 2 was by far my favorite and perfectly sums up the tone of the show. That whole sequence of playing the song that describes their ill-fated attempt to get the gun from the grocery clerk was hilarious...I couldn't stop laughing.

Probably we're not going to a wine bar

Amazon sucks at advertising or something. I never even heard of this show until a couple weeks ago.

One of the things I loved about that scene is how Birdbath hit the dude with a sock full of dimes. Little details like that make it more hilarious.
