The Man In The High Castle is surprisingly boring and bad, given the potential of its story. I couldn't make it past episode 3. No idea how The Crown is. King Lear is pretty good. Anthony Hopkins is always fun to watch.

I enjoyed the Crown, found myself pausing and reading up on events that were happening happened during the show.

I thought both were difficult to watch. Gave up on High Tower after Episode 3 as well and the Crown after 1.

If I had a choice of the two I would pick The Crown. It is really interesting to see the history and people. I love period pieces and love historical fiction, although this has a basis in actual events.

The Man in the High Castle had real potential but like another poster it gets boring after a while. The other thing is you really have to watch a few episodes and then wait a week and go rewatch them to not miss something. I will rewatch movies like that because they are 2.5-3 hours. If I have to do that for a series, yeah I'm not that dedicated.

I only made it through season 1 of The Man in the High Castle and largely agree with previous posters. I was really intrigued by the premise, but the execution is only decent and filled with characters that annoyed me.

Haven't watched The Crown but I hear good things.

I tried Man in the High castle twice and I just couldn't get into it. I really enjoyed The Crown, which surprised me because I didn't think I'd like it. The production quality was fantastic and the historical aspect made it that much better. Really looking forward to season 3.

The Crown is better, it took me 3 tries before I was able to get into the Man in High Castle.

I would suggest you watch Wolf Hall instead.

Man in the High Castle is a phenomenal show. The ONLY boring part is the middle of season 1, and its one of the few shows where season 2 is far better than season 1.

The Crown is one of the most boring shows of all time.

I have a feeling the posters above are the type who would rather watch interspecies fish sex than something actually well written, original, and entertaining.

Man in the High Castle is awesome, and season 2 is even better than season 1

The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix is good.

Man in the High Castle is good too. It gets better and better as it goes. Haven't watched season 3 yet.

The Crown lasted about an episode and a half before I decided watching it wasn't worthwhile.

I felt there was nothing captivating, since the characters just sat around in that town doing nothing. Plus the character actions were baffling. Her deciding to transport the tape is a mid-season decision, not a first episode one..

I watched most of the first season of The Man in the High Castle...but bailed. Couldnt stick with it.

The Crown is fantastic.

I gave up on The Man in the High Castle, but The Crown is outstanding, go with that one.

I watched the first episode of High Castle & thought it was boring as hell

The Crown is good and also a good choice for married couple (my wife will watch little that has violence). My wife has a companion book for the show and reads up on the history behind each episode after watching.

I thought the dialogue for Man in the High Castle seemed a little too soap opera-y. I gave up after episode 3. I might try again though just because I am kind of in a Netflix slump right now.

The Crown is really well done.
