So this was one of my favorite shows, but I was super worried about how they would work out the second season. I was still worried a few episodes in, but then it was still really good.

I feel the same way about season 3 but I should trust them by now.

Started season 1 today on a whim when Kristen Bell's beautiful face scrolled across my Netflix screen.

Glad I did......and glad to hear it's still funny going into season 3.

I just finished it tonight.

Quite the surprise ending. I think subconsciously I knew something was off but not that.

Very curious to see how season two goes because they have to write it knowing that we know what we know.

Holy crap! Just finished season 1 myself. I fully knew there was a twist coming (like the poster above aluded to, there was just a vibe) but I have to admit that I did NOT see that one.

I highly, highly recommend the Good Place-- the Podcast, which is expertly hosted by Sean Evan Jackson aka Shaun.

However, you do need to have finished the first season to start listening.

Been watching on netflix so just finished season 2.

Slowly turning into one of my all time favorite shows, it's jut so unique, well written, well acted.
I really hope the way they set up season 3 allows them to keep the whimsy and silliness of it, plus I hope they find a way to have interactions between all the cast, that's one of its strengths.

But now that I am back on track with the nbc timeline I can watch real time.

Finally caught up and finished season 2 last night.

I enjoy this show and look forward to season 3.

Error/goof that I noticed in season one when Chidi and Eleanor meet she says that his English is perfect. He says that he's actually speaking French but it's automatically translated in the afterlife. How then at the end of season two when Eleanor goes to meet him in Australia, is she able to understand him if they are back on Earth?

There will apparently be an explanation of that early on in Season 3. According to a Sepinwall/ Schur interview I read.

Do you think that is them going "oh crap" better find an explanation for that!

TBH, I really really thought season 2 was gonna suck. I would have totally understood if it was a one shot series. I was so impressed with season 2. It isn't magical like season 1, but I'm bought into the characters enough that it carries through

It sounds like something they thought through even for season 1. I doubt it'll be a great explanation just for time's sake, but I think it'll work.

I feel the same way going into this season as I did going in to season 2. I'm just excited to see how they pull it off.

Blake Bortles did an AMA on Reddit and said the show offered him to do a guest appearance but he had a conflict and couldn't. Maybe one day

I thought that was a great double-premiere episode. I'll watch it again later and post some of my favorite quotes throughout, but this was maybe my favorite cliffhanger ending so far with Trevor returning on what looks like a multi-episode role.
