I once gave a DVD of Road House, along with summer sausage, cheddar cheese, a box of Ritz crackers, and a GC to Spec's, as a Secret Santa gift. My whole theme was cheesey 80's movies and music over that week. She didn't quite know what to do with Lip Smackers Trio and The Breakfast Club

Completely forgot about summer rental. One of my favorite John candy movies.

This just doesn't make sense. Were you raised as an Amish? Did you have hippie parents that didn't believe in TV or going to the movies? And if either of the above were true, how would watching movies from the 80s help you relive your youth??

Lol. I've seen a good portion of the movies but not all of them. We had 1 tv in the house during those days and I had older parents so we mainly got to watch older b rated movies like Snowbeast, Concord Airport 79, Night of the Scarecrow, The Dead Don't Die, etc. But I digress. What I meant was that I want to see movies that help me relive the feelings that I had in the 80s. Even though Stranger Things is a newer show, by watching it, you get the feeling of what it was like growing up during that decade. That's what I'm trying to accomplish. I just figured that 80s era movies are a good way to do this.

You list some movies that came out in 1990 or later

Children of the Corn

Hot Dog is 80's cliche ski movie by which all other cliche ski-movies are set.
