Wyatt Earp is far better than Tombstone and no, I am not trolling. I am on record here as a fan of the prequels. The fact that so many hate a particular movie or like a particular movie has no bearing on what my list is.

- Schindler's List, The Silence of the Lambs, Saving Private Ryan are way up there on my list of "bests" but they don't have the rewatchability factor that classifies something as one of my FAVORITES.

- Fight Club and The Sixth Sense are both high on my list of great movie watching experience the first time I saw each of them, but without the twist being a surprise they lose some of the rewatchability factor for me.

- Am I the first person to include Home Alone?

- Lots of movies that were hard to leave off this list. Looking forward to the bracket.

without getting too much into a Tombstone vs Wyatt Earp discussion imho Wyatt Earp was not terrible but was just a bit too long.

that said, i think a lot of people feel that way simply because they had already seen much of the story told in Tombstone a few months earlier and didn't need to see it again. i'd be interested to know what people who have only seen Wyatt Earp and not Tombstone think of it.

i definitely prefer Tombstone on a personal level but stop and watch Wyatt Earp too when i see it on TV and there's nothing better to watch.

Tombstone is fine, but massively overrated. There are multiple extremely cringeworthy lines and scenes.
