I honestly cannot believe more people don't watch Snowfall. Seems like most people I've mentioned it to have never heard of it. It's a banger, start to finish.

Just got done with the second to last last night and will watch the finale soon. Echo everyone's sentiments here about how outstanding it is and surprised more folks aren't aware of it.

Bumping this thread as I am currently starting Season 4 on a rewatch...to me this is simply one of the most underrated TV shows of all time. I can't believe it's not more popular and acclaimed.

To me it might be one of the greatest TV shows ever. The acting is phenomenal...as in, EVERYONE nails their roles...I can't think of a weak or underperforming character. They absolutely capture 1980's South Central LA in masterful way...the look, the styles, the vibe, everything...not sure it could feel more authentic. It is neck and neck with "Stranger Things" in terms of recreating the 80's.

The lead character, Damson Idris, is incredible. He is British and somehow pulls off the perfect South Central accent and cadence...IYKYK. His acting in this show is seriously gripping.

What a show. Wanted to bump this in case anyonw was wondering whether the show was very rewatchable. It is.

A Snowfall spinoff series just started on Hulu called The Drop: A Snowfall Saga. Some of the same characters are continuing the series by getting into the rap music scene.
I enjoyed Snowfall, probably will check this out at a later date.

Same, although, i don't have very high hopes. We will see.

snowfall started great and petered out....but the way it ended was silly.

Seasons 1-4 are all very strong imo. I honestly can't remember much of the last two seasons...was juggling a newborn/infant at the time. I remember it being a solid show still, but not standing up to the rest. Wonder if John Singleton's passing had anything to do with that.
