Oh good god, I couldnt imagine another season or two of that misery!

What a train wreck. Season 1 was legit, season 2 was a bit whacky but ok. This was just bad.
Around episode 7-8 I honest kept checking the listing to make sure I didn't accidentally miss a couple episodes because NOTHING made sense.
WTF? Was John Lequizamo in this season for? He leaves then comes back and is some kind of psychic-vision-seeing dude on a mission for some priest who we never meet and maybe never existed. then blow's his brains out? That story line was just odd and crazy.
Sissy Spacek. Jesus she was over the top in that last seen.
Just a convoluted mess.

I was waiting for this ending.
John walks into the main house after one of his benders and sees the entire family standing at the kitchen island waiting for him(even Danny like he had all season). He stares them all down for a minute as they try and figure out how they are going to get out of the season 3 mess then he responds "clear eyes full hearts....Can't lose". Series ends.
Exactly. It accomplished nothing. Total waste of time.Wycliffe_03 said:
It's best just to skip season 3 altogether imo. Nothing to be gained from it.
it's too late. I agree. If you've just started, please stop at end of season 1. Trust us.Ryno01 said:
Everyone save themselves...don't watch this season

If you do watch this season, just skip episode 9, it's completely worthless and adds nothing to the show.

in their defense, i believe they had 4 or 5 seasons planned but the tax situation forced an untimely cancellation so they were probly given late notice to just wrap it up ASAP. probly why so many loose ends.
Not being a writer, I don't know where I expected it to go. A good show like Breaking Bad is one you may not be able to predict at all, but you trust in the writers/directors to take you somewhere cool and leave you impressed. I guess I was hoping the entry of Danny's son to the show might somehow serve to mend fences in the family or take the show in a slightly different direction. I loved the old scenes of him and his father beginning to cultivate a bond and was kind of hoping he may have been some type of catalyst for change or something.FL_Ag1998 said:
Here's my question to people who liked it but thought it was simply Season 3 that was bad, and only because it was rushed (and this is an honest question, because I never saw the end, just couldnt make it past episode 5 of Season 3 and gave up)....
What about Seasons 2 and 3 make you think it could have been great if they were allowed time to finish it properly? I started disliking it in Season 2. Absolutely loved Season 1, but Season 2 was just too much of a descent into complete disrepair for all of the characters. Absolutely no one to root for by the end of it, and even worse they were all legit unlikeable.
I mean, I loved Breaking Bad, another show about bad, ****ed up people. But even amidst all of the detritus it gave you someone to "like", even if it was only for a few episodes until they became detestable like the others. And some characters flip-flopped between likeable and hateable throughout the seasons. Hell, even by the end Walt still had a few redeeming moments when he remembered that the whole point of his endeavor was supposed to be about providing for his family. And the overall plotline was compelling enough, regardless of the characters.
However, with Bloodline, by the end of Season 2, all it gave you was a bunch of detestable characters in the Rayburn family, who kept doing dumber and more vile things. And the plotline felt like something that should have ended after Season 1, but was stretched into just absurd territory just to keep the show going (John Legizamo's character is a perfect example of that).
I dont know, maybe some of the characters redeemed themselves by the end in some fashion....I just hope that turd Kevin did everyone a favor and shot himself in the head.
I agree with this. I also think it's unfair to thrown in BB because it's, most would believe, one of the top two or three best dramas to ever be on television.Wycliffe_03 said:Not being a write, I don't know where I expected it to go. I actually enjoyed most of Season 2. But Season 3 was an abomination, and i genuinely felt that it was just overly rushed/condensed to the point of becoming a cluster F that barely made sense.
I can almost guarantee they planned on a longer show arch and that John Leguizamo's character was going to be more heavily involved over time.
