I paused last week's episode to explain to my wife the difference between dragons and wyverns and how the show was wrong. I got a well deserved eye roll.

I always thought of wyverns as much smaller, with poison sting on their tails, and not fire breathing.

Bats are mammals with solid bones. Dragons must have hollow bones like birds to be able to fly with their girth. But they are reptilian. Very interesting. Are they cold blooded or warm blooded?
So that's good. The cold north of the wall will not be as much as a problem. If they where more like snakes in that regard they would be useless in the north.
