My wife is binge watching right now to catch up. It's interesting to see the series progress. I read the books so I always knew what was going on, but it's fun to watch it a second time. The thing that sticks out to me is that, man, it was a long way to the top for Jon Snow.

It only took 6 years, but I finally talked the wife into it! 3 weeks in and we are on S5E4 right now. I've watched it through twice all the way with a few seasons watched a third time, and I am STILL finding things I've missed watching it through with her.

I thought you had to be alive and turned to a white walker (why they wanted Crasters kids). Wights are just reanimated dead bodies

Unfortunately, I think not...

I've had a bad feeling about it ever since he was sent to Eastwatch. Surely with the raw wight numbers we saw, someone major dies there tonight (obv not Jon).

We know from the trailer he fights with Jon north of the wall. Jon is still on Dragonstone as of now. Granted with those sweet new Westerosi time-machines, he'll be there in no time.

Based on that clip, I'd guess he is going to try and ride a dragon

I have not read any spoilers or whatever, this is purely spec

We know that the final episodes of each season are usually the big battles and epic moments in the series and with this season being shortened, we can assume the saved budgets of 3 episodes allow for some amazing scenes. Not surprising that the final 2 are longer

What is the point of engaging the army of the dead without dragonglass?

Curious because Hardhomme was unclear who got ressed. Was is just the recently dead humans? Or were wights who were cut down able to return?

I believe that the wights don't die unless they are burned and then they can not be brought back. Maybe severing limbs is another way?
