HAAATED this. It was like someone(oprah) wanted to make Forrest Gump but about every minutae of the civil rights movement. With Gump I can suspend disbelief because it's such a fanastic (as in fantasy) story. With The Butler it was just oooh this guy was here for this, and for this, and then his son did this, etc, etc.

Hurt Locker im not a fan of either for reasons already mentioned. I have ZERO military experience and even i know some dude isnt gonna be able to run around all super commando through Baghdad like he did.

I tried to like Mad Men. I really did. I pushed myself to watch the entire first season and even an episode of the second. Just couldn't get into it.

Waded through a few episodes before I came to the conclusion that every character was reprehensible and I didn't give a s**t about any of them.

just watched The Drop the other day, a friend said it was really good. Thought it was incredibly boring and the ending did not make up for the rest of the movie. I think he only liked it cause Gandolfini was in it. But the critics seemed to like it too.

The opening scene was as good as anything he's ever done but after that, I thought the movie was very average. Pulp Fiction is one of my 10 favorite movies but I've thought every movie he's done until Django to be average. Great scenes here and there, but nothing I'd care to ever watch again. Django was the first since Pulp Fiction that I thought was great from beginning to end.

Boyhood
- Thought it was one of the dumbest, most pointless movies I have ever seen.

No Country for Old Men
- Maybe I missed the deeper meaning, it was just really slow and boring to me.

There will be blood
- Beautifully shot, just didn't do anything else for me.

American Hustle
- Really, really, really wanted to like this movie but it did nothing at all for me.

I was never a fan of Seinfeld either. I don't think I ever laughed whenever I watched that show.

I can tell you are not a patient person.

Based on your dislikes, I can't imagine you liked Shawsank or The Green Mile?

Ha.

Actually, no. I loved both of those movies. Really liked Citizen Kane and the Road too.
