It finally has a studio/distributor (Broad Green Pictures), but still no word on a release date. It definitely won't be 2015, though, as Malick has Knight of Cups releasing sometime this fall. My guess would be spring or summer 2016, but we'll see.

So that's what it's called...

I was around Austin for most of its filming. Hope it comes out soon. I guess its like a side project of Malick's that he works on when he gets the opportunity?

It's not really even a side project - he just takes FOREVER to edit his movies. Knight of Cups is locked and ready to go, they just haven't scheduled an exact date yet, and so editing Weightless should be his main focus right now, from what I understand.

That was almost 4 years ago! Is this going to be a Boyhood style film?
