While he's not the best combatant in the world, he was there at Blackwater and retook Dragonstone from Stannis's forces.

I think Robert in his Prime is also higher. He was a pretty big man with a massive warhammer. Definitely the stories from the Rebellion and the Greyjoy's rebellion have him as a massive beast on the battlefield.

Brotherhood without banners have always been for the common man. Seems out of character for them to slaughter an innocent commune.


Unless.........they are now led by a...person....with an undying hatred of freys, and the leader of said commune used to be a prominent member of the frey army.

I don't think we're going to get clegane bowl this season. Way too much story yet to happen to set up cersei's trial by combat and to get the hound to king's landing.

That's actually a decent explanation. Otherwise, it would have to be some other group or something, because I agree that it goes against their MO. They're not above stealing to support themselves, but not slaughter.

1. Battle of the *******s
2. Cleganebowl
3. White Walkers at the Gate
4. Arya dies or kills the Waif
5. Dany gets back to Mereen and sets sail for Westeros
6. Resolution at Tower of Joy

Other possibilities:
1. Frey Pie
2. Lady Stoneheart

They better get moving.

Cool episode! Can't wait for next week.

Two things did bug me a bit:

1. It doesn't make much sense Sansa is hiding what she knows of Littlefinger from Jon.
2. I figured Arya would be more covert about leaving the city. Especially, after the training she just went through.

Because there is almost zero chance that Littlefinger isn't going to **** them over. He killed their Aunt, he essentially betrayed their father. It's what he does. She knows that she shouldn't trust him, but she feels she has no other option.
