Normal WW can be killed with normal weapons, at least until they are revived again. Think back to the north battle of WW vs Wildlings. The dragon glass or a valyrian steel is only needed for the leaders. Which it looks like we are down to 3 maby?
Thanks, I had forgotten. Three sounds right. Because Ice was melted down for Oathkeeper and the other one that Joffrey had, and Jon's sword. That's all I can think of right now.
1. Isn't this the Readers thread? There are hundreds of valyrian steel weapons. Dozens in Westeros alone.

2. I think the reference was to "three White Walkers," not to three swords.

Methinks FZ was referencing the remaining WW leadership, not the number of valyrian steel swords.

Yep, leaders, not swords.

So is Sansa pregnant? She said something to Littlefinger that made it seem that way to me. I'll need to rewatch to be sure.

I hated to see it, but hardly meaningless. Meera, Bran and company would never have escaped, if Summer had not sacrificed himself.

said Ramsey only wanted her for an heir, and did not care how he hurt her as long as she could breed.

I think what people are pissed about is that summer instantly got torn to shreds, and didnt seem to buy any time at all. Whereas Leaf's death clearly slowed the wights down, summer's didnt appear to slow them at all.

That's fair. I'm just pissed because it seems like the show is getting rid of the wolves as quickly as possible.

For the people who busted us about misspelling Ramsay...

There are no normal white walkers vs leader white walkers. There are only white walkers and wights. In the cave Meera killed a wight with a normal sword, and a white walker with, what I think we can all agree, a dragon glass spear.

As to how many white walkers remain, idk. Does anyone remember how many there were when we saw the episode with the night's king turning the baby?

4 in tonight's plus 1 killed by jon and 1 by sam, at least 6. There is also the old scene where the WW's took that baby and turned his eyes blue. How many were in that circle then? I would assume those are all WW's as well.

13 was the number mentioned based on this picture. It also supported the Nights King theory because he was reportedly the 13th Lord Commander of the Nights Watch.

Actress is Ania Bukstein. She's done nudity before. She's gorgeous but there was a lot of pushup bra happening tonight.

I'm putting Eline Powell (fake Sansa) and Rosabel Laurenti Sellers (Tyene) as a tie for #1.

Every male child of Craster was offered to the Wight Walkers. I've got to think there were a couple dozen of those. Plus that was just the last 40 years or so. You've gotta think there're been other offerings over the last two thousand years.

I'm not a fan of the white walkers being created by the children. Hope that's not how it is in the books, or at least I hope it gets a better treatment than a 1p second bran flashback with him explicitly saying "the children created the white walkers!"

I think it makes a lot of sense based on what was happening to the CotF and their way of life. It was probably a great idea from their perspective since they would be using men against men. I would assume that the book would go into much more detail in both the backstory and explanation behind it all. We might get more in the show too through Bran. I doubt we get any from the CotF now.

Man this show. ****ing just offing the wolves. I hope one of Dany's dragons gets taken down immediately. The Starks just continue to get pounded. You'd think after 5.5 seasons they'd have some small victory.

Watched the show with some friends tonight, took me 50 min to drive home (gotta love DC) and I listened to all the angry music my phone held. I don't care about anyone's defense of summer dying, I thought it was ridiculous. To kill Summer and Hodor in the same episode takes away from both of those characters (as Hodor was dying, I was still reeling from Summer sacrificing himself... So I couldn't even take all the Hodor stuff in. That's such a shame). And to kill two direwolves in a few episodes? Why did we even have direwolves introduced to us in the first place?? Seems like such a waste.

Right after the episode, the producers talked about how they met with GRRM to discuss details of the show and GRRM told them how Hodor "got his name" and died. So blame GRRM if you hate how Hodor went down.

Now I'm wondering if the butterfly effect with Hodor is/was just a one-time thing or if it will/has happened again?

I actually like the irony of the COTF creating the first WW to defend them (and the land?) against man, but in the end, man has to defeat the WW to save the land. It also gives the WW a history and doesn't just make them "pure evil". My question though is why did the WW care so much about killing the Three-Eyed Raven? Just because he was the leader of the COTF and the WW hated the COTF for turning them into WW? So now the WW are just a brutal force attacking everything, not just man?

Lastly, what did Varys hear in the flames?
