Watch the documentary. Several of the girls mention that there is very little, if any gratification involved in what they do. It's all about the money for them. The are being booked with actors twice their age. Creepy old dudes. When you fu(k for money, you're a hoor. One of the companies that most of these girls pass through is called "Facial Abuse." I watched it because of the girl from N.B. who is a former cheerleader from there.

It shows her going home to visit her mom and dad and i would say that is what fascinated me. Her mom figured it out before she told her what was going on. One part shows her hunting with her dad and she's supposed to confess to him what she's been doing (how she explains the camera guy before that i don't know). Can you imagine?!?

It's not just that they are tested frequently. It's also that they all know that if the come up positive they are done in the business. It's fatal to their jobs. Accordingly they are very careful. The ones in the industry (male and female) tend to be very, and stay very clean.

The bottom line (no pun intended) is that the STD rate among those in the porn industry is much lower than that of the general population.

I suspect it's not just that she did porn but rather the body of work (i know) exhibited in the movie. Those girls didn't seem too savvy. At the photo shoot for example they felt as if they were being treated as princesses. Then they started to realize......

It seems as if anytime a tv station comes out to my area they interview someone with no teeth. That doesn't represent me or my family but it's just not how you want your town portrayed.

Think about the impression others have of small town Texes, or even Texas in general. Does this documentary help or hurt. Not talking fairness either because that sort of judgment is never fair.
