Ok, this has been driving me nuts since I heard this song a few months ago. I know I've heard the chant before in another song, the part that starts Pompeii off and is in the chorus, etc "Eh Eho Eho, Eh..." I've looked all over the interwebs and found one Yahoo post asking what song they sampled but responses claimed there was no sampling. Haven't been able to find any other info about it online.

It was a song I used to hear, of all places, on Continental airline flights when they used to play music once they had landed and people were getting their carry ons, etc....They'd also play Orinoco Flow by Enya, Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Adiemus, etc...

I've tried to listen to as much Enya, Enigma, etc that I can find but haven't heard that chant yet.

Am I alone in remembering that other song? Anyone else noticed this?

If it has been covered here before, sorry I couldn't find Bastille in a search...

I know what you are talking about. I always try to figure out where else I've heard that when i hear the song, just cant put my finger on it.

Not exactly the same, but it does remind me of Tarzan Boy by Baltimora.

I think its Enya that is reminding me of it.

The search continues...have looked at some of the suggestions, but it still isn't the same song.

What I remember is almost verbatim to the intro and chorus of Pompeii.
