I'm constantly amazed at how different my tv watching is compared to the at-large population...there is not one show (other than AHS season 1) that I have seen!

I watched American Horror Story season 1. Is the consensus to skip 2 and 3?

Yes, they're terrible.
Wife and I just started watching The Following. Only watched 2 episodes but we like it so far.
And of course Breaking Bad is the best series on Netflix.

Arrow is one of my favorites. First 2 seasons are on Netflix and IMO it gets better with each episode.

His relocation is rough to get through, but once he starts mobbing it up and squeezing folks it's a different show.

As someone mentioned, as for shows you may have overlooked, the first 2 seasons of Damages are INCREDIBLE.
The Following is pretty good..intense though, it's hard to binge watch without taking some breaks.

Californication is good for about 3 seasons and then it takes a steep drop off, as all Showtime shows do. The first season of No Reservations is on Netflix. Everyone loves Anthony Bourdain.

A note on The Following, I gave up on the first season about 2/3's into the season. I binged the last bit I didn't watch before season two. Watched the first two episodes of season two and just couldn't watch anymore. I think there was a thread on here discussing the series.
The Following is turrible. Still can't believe that show got renewed
Just started Parenthood. It's pretty good, but I thought it would be a comedy, like Modern Family. It's not. It's funny, but it'll make you scared of having kids. Specifically of having a daughter.
Just finished the first season of An Idiot Abroad. Hilarious.
My husband and I love the show White Collar. Also fans of Parenthood.
I think Parenthood is a very well written show. I really enjoy it.

Another vote for Parenthood. It is one of our favorite shows of all time. So good.

Black Mirror is craaaazy. But I really liked it. Sad there are so few episodes.
Has anyone watched Happy Valley? I finished the first episode and was wondering if anyone has gone all the way through.
Is The Affair on nexflix? Saw it won a GG award.

black donnelys is awesome and one of the better "one and done" series
