Every time there's no new news about this movie for a while, I totally forget they're making it. Sucks to be the third wheel in a future of Avengers and Star Wars.

If it does come out with Jupiter Ascending, that'll be a home run for your site.

The Force Awakens trailer hit 13 months before that movie's release. Would be the exact same if BvS hit with with Jupiter Ascending. A teaser a year out, for these mega franchise movies, is pretty standard. Especially from WB.

^ No. His next film, shooting alongside DiCaprio, is over-schedule. It's not wrapping 'til March now. Hardy then has to go straight into promoting Mad Max in April. The original plan was to squeeze suicide squad between the two. Now, he can't.

TC, do you know how these things work? Does WB sue Fox for screwing anything up, or is there no real damages (BTDubs, just used the projection list to see who is making Hardy's next film)?

After seeing how emotional studio execs are from the leaked emails, I can see this getting (exageratedly) blown out of proportions in the circles of the execs and vendettas set.

This isn't really cinema/film related, but CBS is apparently planning to do a Supergirl drama.

That may be one of the best comic book character translations from a visual standpoint that I've ever seen. Absolutely fantastic design choices, Aquaman looks incredible.

Looks like DC is really running with the grittier, darker themes, I like it a lot. So far their choices for costumes have been top notch (Wonder Woman with a Greek style armored skirt is another).

The hype is building for this movie now.

I always felt DC was darker and grittier than Marvel. Glad they are trying to stay that way.

This is a generational thing. I'm an old, but Marvel was a heck of s lot more "real" than DC (70's / 80's). There were some notable exceptions, but hell, Batman used to smile back then. A lot.

So I'm going to be the unpopular opinion here, but this is pretty much exactly what I expected. I think just a tint of color would have been nice, but it seems like every character has to have real muted colors, even Superman's suit is somehow lacking color.

I mean at this point, what is the Flash going to wear? Black and white? Is the Green Lantern going to be gray?

I had a huge amount of hype for Man of Steel (the third trailer was one of the best trailers I've seen) but the movie let me down so much, I'm not going to believe in anything Zack Snyder is doing with these characters until the movie comes out. If it's good, I'll be glad, but I probably still won't like the costumes.
