Last one I saw was when Larry's mother died. He's not informed, goes to his parent's house, can't get a straight answer from his dad on mom's whereabouts, sarcastically asked "What, is she dead?", dad replies "weeellll, yeah."

that one was greatness, but the best one was when an old gf ask him to go to a "incest survivor" therapy meeting and the others assume he was molested, too. He ends up making up a story about his uncle. that was some sh*t you would never see on NBC/Seinfeld.

What a great show that is. All the ones already mentioned are great, but one of my favorites is when Larry mentions to his friend that his son has a "helluva p enis."

So embarassingly funny it make me squirm.

I'm jealous of Larry David. Not only is he an awesome writer, but...how does he act like a normal guy, just being himself. Any actor will tell you how difficult that is.

I didn't want to like that show for some reason, but it is great.

He's actually says in an interview with Bob Costa, that he is acting. He's not himself. The real Larry David thinks of the things the character Larry David actually does. Does that make sense?

rudy - that interview was the only thing worth watching on Costas' HBO show.
When does CYE and Sopranos return to HBO? I'm guessing January since they are just now starting a couple of new series...

i like Costa's, simply because he's vertically challenged like I am.

To bring this thread back up since I was recently introduced to CYE, I think it is pure comic genious.

I thought I was the only one who thinks Cheryl Hines is smoking. there's something about her--the tone of her voice, body, something, that makes me what to do terribly good things to her in a sexual way.

If you guys just started watching the show you might have missed when Larry's manager gave him courside seats to a Lakers game. At one point in the game Larry stretches out his legs and trips Shaq as he is heading to the scorer's table to check back in the game. It's reported that Shaq's injury is season ending. While guilt ridden over injuring Shaq, Larry is quite happy when everyone else in LA hates him and wants nothing to do with him.

One of the best things on TV, without question.

Cheryl is amazingly hot.

My favorite episode is when Larry meets up with his old girlfriend for lunch (already mentioned in this thread, but not this part) and later Cheryl wants to be intimate. Larry can't because he is already spent. I was crying from laughing so hard.

Curb is second to only Arrested Development in my mind.

Does anyone know when the new season begins airing? Last year at this time they were wrapping up, hurry up LD...I need my fix.

The best one is when they go to the retired porn stars house for dinner. And he tells the story of Tabasco.

Those are some good ones, along with the one where he takes the hooker with him to the Dodger game so he can use the HOV lane.

The hooker episode was a great one. I'm so addicted to CYE--I tried for years to avoid it, but was recently turned on to it by an ex girlfriend. The comedic genious of LD and the beauty and comedic timing of Cheryl Hines sucked me in.

First episode I ever saw was the Krazy Eyes Killah.

I've been a fan ever since.

I'd have to say the best episode is the one where there were jokes about the holocaust and 9/11.

she's hot because she's not a nag. well, very rarely. any woman that can put up with that much idiosyncracy and, in fact, participate is attractive.
