The teenage anikan almost singlehandedly ruined the greatest franchise of all time with his Brooklyn accent, obnoxiously whiny persona, and almost incomprehensible ability to not have a clue what any scene required in 2 full movies.

I don't know, the guy was taking direction from Lucas. How can you parse out the bad acting from the ****tiest directing this side of Michael Bay?

Lucas managed to make Natalie Portman and Ewan MacGregor look like community theater rookies. I give every actor in Star Wars a pass for their performances there.

i'm gonna go with one that probably hasn't been mentioned on here.....
Zooey Deschanel who played Trillian from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy......good gawd every line that came out of her mouth felt awkward, forced, or just plain terrible....
Was easily one of the worst overall from what I've seen in a movie in a long time.

If you want bad acting you have to watch the movie "Cutaway."
The entire skydiving community was excited about it since it would be the first feature movie to feature skydiving that was shot by an actual jumper. Then we watched it and it is absolutely horrible, uses a very worn out cliche for a plot and the acting was even worse.

She's pretty terrible in everything. Good thing her role in Almost Famous is small because I love that movie.

Wow, one of his best acting performances? It was unwatxhably bad, as was birdcage. What makes them so bad is that the critics gave them good reviews. I saw both of these movies expecting to like them, to be entertained. And they were both horribly bad. Robin Williams was great in Good Will Hunting. He was not great in these 2 turd movies.

Just saw it on tv, but Tom Lister in Fifth Element is pretty bad.

As several people have already mentioned, The Room wins. No contest. Hands down. EOT.
Anything other than the Room means you have not seen The Room.
Watch "Birdemic" and you may change your mind.
For biggest discrepancy between performance and movie, the award goes to....

Andie Macdowell in 4 weddings and a funeral. Holy crap every terrible appearance in a scene leads up to one of the worst delivered clunkers ever "is it still raining I hadn't noticed" as one monotone run on sentence. The. Worst.
I seriously forgot most of those Marky Mark scenes from The Happening. I think the guy who called it an epic troll might be right.

I think Jake Lloyd is George Lucas's illegitImate son and he put him in that role to avoid child support payments.
