in the past year we have witnessed huge success of Spiderman, mild success of Daredevil and and total bomb of the Hulk, will there be a continuing trend with motion pictures going to the comic book store for ideas? if so what superhero would you like to see a movie for?

Fantastic Four is slated for release in Nov of '04. I'd love to see the Avengers.

While I'd agree that X2 and Spider-man are much better movies, Hulk is in the same league as Daredevil.

Terrible casting job for Daredevil. I don't think Ben Affleck was a good fit for that role. Come to think of it, there aren't many movies of his that I like.

Great casting for Spiderman and X-Men movies.

We'll also see Iron Fist before too long.

There's talk of another Captain America and Fantastic 4.

Id love to see Ghost Rider and the Silver Surfer...

Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer are on the way (eventually). Nicolas Cage and Johnny Depp (my choice) have expressed interest in the role of Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider.

The Fantastic Four movie is scheduled for Dec. 17th, 2004.

The Punisher is going to suck. Thomas Jane as Frank Castle?? And since it's a 'summer movie' that means that it WON'T be the hard-core R-rated violent movie that it should be to be true to the character.

Other movies:
- an "Elektra" spinoff movie with Jennifer Garner.
- Ray (Darth Maul) Park as "Iron Fist."
- Wesley Snipes wants to be in the movie adaptation of "The Black Panther."
- Tom Cruise has expressed interest in being "Iron Man."
- though not Marvel, "Hellboy" comes out next summer.

I think in the next X-Men movie, they need to have Warren Worthington III (Archangel) with metal wings and all. That would be SWEET!

The new Punisher flick should be R, but as long as Dolph Lundgren doesn't return, I'll probably check it out.

I thought Iron Man was a black guy.

thomas jane is actually a pretty good actor, he played mickey mantle in 61 and was in original sin....i think it has a chance at being good

X2 with the rise of the Phoenix would appear to be set around issue 100 or so although the movies don't seem to be strictly following the comic book chronology. Gambit didn't appear until X-Men 266.

Wouldn't mind seeing a New Mutants movie, and although it's a DC comic, I always thought The New Teen Titans was pretty cutting edge and would translate well into a movie. A movie of the 12 comic series "Crisis on Infinite Earths" would also be cool, can't remember if that was DC or Marvel though.

Gambit's name was on the list of mutants in the movie when Mystique was stealing those files.

They should just have one big Marvel extraveganza and do the "Secret Wars" series.
