If you look closely to the bike it has the same circle mark engraved on it under the seat. You can clearly see it right before Marty's car makes contact.

We've seen the stripper in the stars and stripes bikini from the opening credits. I think she was in the background of a scene.

I don't think we've seen the last of Remus the lawnmower man. I was half expecting (and it may still happen) that when they panned back from Rust in the school, went through the window, that it was Remus' point of view from the other room.

His name is Errol per imdb (i didn't remember) and yes he's scheduled for 2 more episodes. When they 1st visited the school Errol says that the school was put on his work load (forgot how long ago)... I assume that came from someone that works at some level in public office (more corruption). Initially I didn't see how the school was connected but I DID have the feeling that Cohle's questioning was cut off too short when Marty gets the call in & he starts honking the horn. Had he not been interrupted it would have been interesting to see how Cohle would have picked the guy apart in questioning.

Not sure why, but I too thought about Remus the Lawnguy when I saw the spaghetti man picture posted earlier. And I think when I saw it on this thread, it was after Ledoux was already dead (also who I thought about).
The imdb page for Remus (telling the # of episodes he's in) was the semi-spoiler I referenced earlier. I've avoided looking anyone else up since then, except for Daddario, for obvious reasons.

Thought they said they boy had just recently died, but the girl lived?
I remember the narrator (Cohle) said the boy was dead less than a day, but I don't remember if he said the girl lived or if he said the girl was alive. Either way the girl definitely was alive at the time of rescue. Not sure about 7 years later though.
Still am not over this week's episode. These episodes just grab you and don't let go.

Ray Bans. Have the same pair but with brown lenses. They're in the aviator family but don't think they fit the 1995 timeframe.

Kind of a disappointing episode for me. We learned everyone is screwing everyone else and why Cohle and Marty broke up. That's about it.
The guy with the green ears in the drawings is the lawnman mowing the grass at the closed school. Another great episode.
