Jimi's version is the ****, but if you ever see DMB play Watchtower live and you have good seats...it's a ****in experience. Especially with Tim playing full time with the band. A few years back they were touring it and during the jamout Tim would do the stairway solo and the band would pick up and do the stairway outro just in the middle of the jam.

That was probably the best version I'd ever heard DMB do, much less anyone do, of Watchtower.
