Was just watching Scarface for the umpteenth time yesterday and I was wondering about F Murray Abraham's character, Omar Suarez.
Was he an informer for the police like Mr. Sosa said, or was Sosa lying to Tony and eliminated Omar because Tony was more willing to be a partner rather than cut a one time small deal like Omar was on behalf of Frank Lopez? Lopez tells Tony that Sosa lied to him about this..
Also, did Omar really set up Tony with the Colombians or was that just a risky job that Omar didn't want to get his hands dirty with so he sent the little known at the time Tony to deal with the untrustworthy Colombians at the SunRay Motel?
