Pro Joe was an acting coach. Basically, what he was to The Wire was what Lee Strasberg (Hyman Roth) was to The Godfather II.

My favorite Prop Joe scene was when he got on the street phone and pranked called Stringer, I think. That voice was so funny.

Man I wanted to jump through the screen and beat the sh*t out of Cheese when he set up Joe. When Slim Charles popped him, it was probably one of the most satisfying moments in tv history. Cheese was such a b*tch.

Heard him on with BaD Radio once and he talked about acting as his own agent and what a mistake it was, and how he didn't get much of anything in terms of residuals and all that. He had a good attitude about it and was pretty funny as I remember.
