Was a big fan growing up, and laughed like crazy at the reference. It's not that obscure.

Thought this last one was pretty funny with the chef but the one before last when they get stuck in the desert is one of my favorites. The part where he tells at Ray for forgetting about his bionic legs and then using his back to lift the jeep was hilarious. That and the cancer rampage episode are probably my two favorites.

absolute nails last night

Episode had me rolling!!

Pam had me in stitches with her sandwich at the beginning on the episode with Cyril....and Carol once again had some great lines.

I loved the Sea Lab reference.

This honestly is the funniest show on TV a lot of weeks. I'd complain that there aren't more pages of this thread but the show speaks for itself plenty.

Loved having Eugene Mirman and Kristen Schaal, H Jon Benjamin's "Bob's Burgers" co-stars on this last episode. And centering a 2-part finale around Cheryl was a great idea. She and Krieger may honestly be the funniest characters on the show.

That last episode was greatness.

The Papal Chase is up there with Skytanic, Tragical History, Jeu Monésgasque and Space Race as my all-time favorite episodes.

The pope one was definitely one of my favorites, this last one wasn't bad either. Favorite episode is still the cancer-rage episode when he shoots the Irish guy.

When they said that the sealab was run by a "Captain Murphy" and then this showed up on the screen:



I about freakin' lost it. It took a few seconds for me to remember the sad news that the voice of Capt. Murphy from Sealab 2021 (the great Harry Goz) had passed away years ago.

They will be missing out on a brilliant joke if this doesn't happen at the end of the season finale:

Krieger and Cheryl are my favorite characters. They get so few lines compared to Archer, Lana, Mallory, et al, but when they do.... well, "Jazz hands!"

Or how about Krieger making Lana robotic hands that seem to already be programmed to masturbate for her?

The coke machine on top of Murphy was awesome.

This probably is already known by everyone, but the voice for Captain Murphy was Jon Hamm. That's the second season finale in a row that was a two parter, and had a James Bond-esque super villain in a crazy setting (space and the bottom of the sea), featuring the voice of a popular show on AMC's leading man.

So next year I'm predicting a finale where a super villain, voiced by Rick from the Walking Dead, is inside the center of the earth threatening to detonate every volcano on earth.
