That makes a lot of sense TCTTS.

In a trailer, it shows a room full of cryogenic coffins, so it has to be Khan, or a lead up to it.

I was under the impression that those were starfleet personnel in the coffins, especially given the military funeral also included.

Likely an Abrams misdirection. An editing trick to mess with / wink at fans. As has been pointed out on various sites, what kind of coffins would have frosted windows on them?

In the prologue it seems to elude to spock dying. If this is the case then that disapoints me as it has already been done.
