Madness has grown on me since I first heard it. Still nothing on the record that really blows me away though. Overall seems like a solid album but definitely not their best.

Madness, Animals, Survival probably my top songs in no particular order. Isolated System, Panic Station, Follow Me, and Supremacy make up a solid next tier.

Liquid State is also good but Chris is nowhere near the vocalist Matt is.

Oh, and Unsustainable is still garbage.

man panic station is f-in badass! it's like INXS and queen had a baby, and the baby ate stevie wonder cereal.

I really like chris's vocals, especially on save me. Liquid state is very foo fighter-ish.

This cd sucks. I will still get it and put it on my ipod though.

I also blame Kate Hudson, she has de-crazied Matt Bellamy.

Considering I've been listening to their music since the beginning, I think I qualify as a fan. This sounds like them doing an impression of a generic band that sucks.

I'm not a huge fan of dubstep. It alright, but it seems to be a departure from their previous work.

i'm a fan, although maybe not by thirdgen's standards. Only been listening to Muse since about 2000 with Showbiz, so take it for what it is worth...Muse is one of my favorite bands ever, and I've seen them multiple times.

the last couple albums really grew on me, so this one hasn't had the chance for those repeat listens.

the dubstep song is terrible. there might be about 45 seconds in that song that are listenable, but I won't suffer through the rest to listen to it. Caveat: I don't like dubstep at all, but I don't mind it in stuff like Alex Clare "Too Close," so I was hoping Muse could figure out how to make it work. They didn't. The two songs Chris sings on aren't bad, but I'd rather have Matt singing, so they leave something to be desired. It's a case of something that is good, but it held to a higher standard, so it ends up being not that good. The rest of the album is pretty good, and I think will eventually grow on me.

but what do I know. I'm not jerking off about the album, so I'm not a real fan.

I am trying to give it a chance and let it marinate a few more times before making a final judgement, but so far I am not too terribly in love with 2nd Law.

Supremacy, Survival, Madness, and Panic Station are all great tracks, but IMO there is a pretty big fall off from the rest of the album.

This album effing sucks. Why did I buy it!?

Houston tickets on sale today

Got my Houston tickets. 5 month wait is going to suck.

I've listened to the album around 6 or 7 times now. I really want to like this thing, but I can't. The majority of it is crap. I only really care for Supremacy, Madness and Save me. I'll give it another couple of listens, but for the first time, it doesn't look like I will be purchasing a Muse album. Never thought I would say that.

But with that being said, I will try and make it to the Houston show. Still the best live act I have ever seen.

Never gotten into Muse. I bought this album today and like it. I see you fans hate it so please tell me the best albums.

My favorites are Black Holes and Revelations or Absolution, but you really can't go wrong with any of their other CDs.

Kind of pissed I get random e-mails from Muse but nothing about 1-day presale for a DFW show in March. I still want to go, but I'd like to get closer and GA are completely sold out. Not having someone short go with me was my pass for heading to GA.

Hopefully the new cd doesn't dominate the set list.

The genius of Matthew Bellamy is fully displayed in this album, especially if you watch the making-off videos. Truly a musical genius.

Early nervy absolution and origin if the symmetry are a good place to start. Thy aren't the oldest or newest. Black holes is where they really got big.
