Pony Excess and The Best That Never Was are my two favorites. The U was entertaining. The one about June XX 1994 was such a great premise, but I think it could've been put together better.

I guess now I'll finally get to watch The Two Escobars.

I really enjoyed the Michael Jordan one where he decides to play baseball. I was fairly young when all that went down. I had no memory as child of all the stuff around his fathers death. And it really highlighted the fact that he was a great athlete. To jump into the sport and have some level of success. And how the other players around him got to play in front of full stadiums and just enjoy the ride that was having mj on your baseball team.

I watched the Pony Express thing last night. That bit where Hansen puts the envelop in front of SMU's assistant AD is just great. Like he said, all the guy had to do was say he sent him anything but money. But he decided to lie about sending anything at all instead. Just great.

It's a damn shame what the SWC did to itself with all that.

I watched Unguarded last night, as I've followed Chris Herren since reading Fall Rivers Dreams many years ago. Very well put together, and it's my favorite of the 30 for 30s so far.

Without Bias was good too. I was in first grade when that happened and I remember my dad sticking a news clipping about that on the fridge to scare me and my younger brother not to do drugs. I guess it worked because I was always convinced one snort of coke would kill you (not that I ever felt the need to test that theory). Interesting to learn more of the backstory about it now that I'm an adult.

Have yet to watch any one of the 30-for-30's (and have seen most of them) and thought it was a waste of time. Great TV!!

Watched June 17, 1994 last night. Really interesting way to present a doc. There's no interviews no narrator. Just file footage from all of the crazy sports events that were taking place that day (Arnold Palmer's end on PGA tour, opening of World Cup in Chicago, Rangers parade in NYC, Game of 5 of NBA finals, oh, and in the midst of it all, OJ running in the White bronco).
