Mac Miller. He isn't really well known right now, but the people who like him are extremely obsessive. It's annoying. I just don't really care for him. Most people here probably don't even know who he is though.
I don't understand the hate for Eminem. Who is currently in the game that's more talented than him technically? Maybe you can name a few but he's way, way up there.
Not a huge fan of Weezy but I'd say he's more overexposed than overrated.

I have to agree with you. Mac has so much hype right now, but he hasn't really done anything. and his mixtapes fade really fast IMO

I think Kid Cudi is terrible.
I don't think Lil Wayne or Kanye are terrible, but definitely VERY overrated.
I don't think the Black Eyed Peas are rap, but whatever the crap is that they put out is the worst thing in the entire music industry.

Black Eyed Peas were actually decent before they got that stupid broad. And they were absolutely rap.

Mac Miller's fan base is retarded. His music is catchy but it does seem to get old really fast.

Z-RO is better (although his earlier stuff was clearly inspired by Pac), and more real (didnt go to art school and wasn't in digital underground), than 2pac. And he can freestyle...

Ive never gotten the Eminem hype. If he was black he would be just another pretty good rapper.
Lyrically he is very good...but I dont think he's anything that special...I hate the way his voice sounds. Every rap it sounds like he's just screaming.
I dont think he's anywhere close to Pac, Biggie, Pun, Nas, Jay Z, Tribe Call Quest, Talib Kweli.
My most underated rapper is Big PUN.
I think Pun is way better then biggie.

Lil Wayne has got to be the most overrated ever.
EDIT: And that's not to say that he's not pretty good, but he gets more play and more attention and more praise than anyone should rightfully be able to justify. He's all show/samples/backing, though, and I've seen a video of him trying to freestyle and it was terrible.

Nikki Minaj is the only female rapper I can tolerate.
Absolutely Tech N9ne is underrated. HE has proven he can take just about anyones style and make a whole album either making fun of it or doing it better. There is no style to Tech. He can do it all.
