Hopefully this season is more like the first half of last season and less like the latter half.

The latter half of last season was borderline unwatchable.

Victoria's back! I've been saying for years she should be the mother...sadly her reappearance this early probably rules her out.

Marshall was great in both episodes. Not getting drunk, "Well I did it again" We've all been there. So pumped for Victoria, lbs or not she's great. Pros and Cons!!!
Those two episodes were leaps and bounds over last season. I'm excited! And I can't wait to see why Marshall is drunk throwing poker chips in the air.

Did anyone else notice Marshalls shirt when he was throwing the chips in the air?
Something along the lines of:
Marshall + Steph = 4ever

In that same scene Barney was wearing the "rubber ducky" tie that was referenced earlier.

Not sure the significance yet.

Great to have this show back. Two stellar episodes and it was a great end to have Victoria come back in the picture. I did think she had some extra lb, but with her I don't mind.

The show is still pretty great, but I get the feeling that a lot of the times they are really reaching. The writers used to be a lot more subtle in delivering some genius bits, I get the feeling that CBS has told them to be a lot more like the Big Bang Theory (I can't stand that show BTW). It still has some pretty witty moments, but they are going a bit overboard on a couple of the storylines that are left. The Barney at the wedding bits, while mildly humorous, were completely over the top. I know his behavior normally was pretty obnoxious, but they used to deliver it with a smoothness that made it kind of work. He now kind of comes across like an obnoxious high schooler

For the most part, I like every other storyline (still want to punch Ted), but I feel like they are reaching with the rekindling of the Barney/Robin romance. I understand it though because this show has become a hit CBS wants to keep it around and keeping things fresh can be hard.

Yes, I also noticed that Barney was indeed wearing the ducky tie during the drunk Marshall throwing chips scene, that will be another story later in the show.

Barney was on the phone in the casino scene and didn't look too happy.

I really wish they'd go ahead and introduce the mother sooner rather than later.

Don't understand why everyone wants Victoria back. Other than being one of the first main relationships on the show, why all the love for her?

The dancing sequence at the wedding was terribly corny, and getting sick of them revisiting the Barney/Robin thing. never been a fan of that.

Robin needs to get rid of the hipster chick hair. All she needs are some Von Miller glasses and a PBR and she can chill on East 6th street in Austin.

Lilly has gone downhill, which I guess is accurate since she's married now. But she used to be so much hotter.

We used to play Edward 40 Hands on MLK day. Everybody wins, that's why it's a good game.

We probably aren't having the wife reveal until barney's wedding (barney's sister?), but I am still interested in what they have in line for victoria

Why did people start thinking it would be barney's sister? Where did that even come from? She's been mentioned what, twice?
