I haven't seen the Swedish version to compare against, but I really enjoyed the books, so I hope the movie keeps up. Fortunately, I read them a year ago and won't remember too many of the details to get frustrated when the movie strays from the book.

Finches knows how to put together a bad ass trailer for his films. Looks great. Need to hurry up and finally read the book before the movie comes out.

Well that second one is hardly a teaser trailer but it looks promising. I thought the original film took too many unnecessary shortcuts compared to the book. This one at least from the preview looks more faithful.

That was my biggest complaint about the Swedish movies. They didn't explain the back story as in depth as it should have been. I know it's boring, but it shouldn't be glossed over like it was.

I think Fitchner will do much better.

before film, fincher was directing big budget music videos. the teaser, while cool, is a bunch of clips set to music.

absolutely love the cast

For those of you that felt that the Swedish films left out too much, have you seen the extended versions? Each film is over 3 hours long.
