At the peaks of their careers...which group would you say was more talented? And what is your favorite song from each group?

Even though when NSYNC exploded onto the scene they were referred to as Backstreet Boy wannabes I always liked and thought NSYNC was more talented despite them having lower record sales year in and year out.

You're not gay if you enjoy catchy music. I prefer NSYNC over BSB, but I don't exactly know their whole catalogs. I never owned an album of either one but I did enjoy a lot of their radio hits.

BSB were more talented vocally. The only person that could hold their own against BSB from NSYNC was Justin Timberlake. He probably had the best voice out of all of them.

Entertainment/Performance-wise, NSYNC destroyed BSB. My GF in high school was obsessed with NSYNC/Justin and dragged me to the No Strings Attached show our sophomore year. That **** was a straight spectacle. Still haven't seen anything like it. A lot of energy. JC could perform live like it was nothing, Michael Jackson-esque.

Best BSB song: "I Want It That Way"
Best NSYNC song: "Gone"

"I Want It That Way" is probably the best boy band song of that era and overall one of the best pop ballads over that decade. Just a great song.

I love NYSNC's pop songs. BSB is a little ballad-y for me.

BSB is going to tour with NKOTB next year and I'm pretty excited about.

Ditto everythign HNIC said, except the part about BSB being more vocally talented. NSYNC's #2, JC Chasez, was way better than BSB's #1, Nick Carter.

Backstreet definitely. I think my favorite song might be "Hey, Mr. DJ".
