I thought 2 was better than the original. The Ku Klux Klan scene in 2 was epic IMO. That's why I'm excited about the third installment which begins filming next month.

Sorry, but Bad Boys 3 is a LONG way from filming, if ever. Michael Bay is currently right in the thick of filming Transformers 3 and will be busy with that until July of next year. While there IS a script for BB3, spring 2012 is the absolute earliest it could start filming (for a summer 2013 release). If it's any consolation, one of my good friends works for Bruckheimer and says the BB3 script is actually, surprisingly, really funny (in a good way).

Really? I saw where Woody Harrelson is on the prelim cast. I love him. I don't know why I pay for IMDBpro....this certainly wouldn't be the first time they had a film shoot date wrong. I trust your buddy who works for Bruckheimer (sp?) over Imdbpro.

Yeah, never trust IMDB (even Pro) for release dates. They're horrible about anything more than a year or so out. As for BB3, Bay wants to do it, so there's no way Bruckheimer would move forward without him. Since 2001, Bay has managed a movie every two years, so with TF3 hitting in 2011, there's just no way we'll see BB3 before 2013. Even if the reigns are handed off to another director should Bay opt out, that decision probably wouldn't be made until TF3 is complete.

Oh yeah, def. They had the Straw Dogs remake listed to come out this summer. I had to go into their data base and request a release date change update (which took them about 3 months) to list. Anyways, from what I understand Bay lets Smith and Lawrence improv a lot on these BB films which seems to work in my opinion.

Tea Leone in the first, and Smith as the drunk uncle scaring the boyfriend in the second.
