I love Entourage, but this season[paraphrase] wasted all the plotlines with bad acting... ridiculous resolutions (the NFL thing) and just a lack of any real drama (Turtle's tequila plot).

lack of any real drama are you watching the same ****ing show? How about...Lavin asks E to join a coupe, Drama might actually have a decent love interest (way better than that French chick from S4/5), Terrence asking E for the prenupt, Ari is self destructing and potentially, for-real-this-time losing his wife, Turtle is struggling to salvage his interests in the Avion venture, and not to mention the littel tiff Vince and Sasha have going on which is fueled by coke and booze which in turned is fueled by a scorned Vince which leads to a second implosion....

All we have ever seen on the show is Ari succeed over Terrence, over Amanda, over his problems with his wife as a fan of the show I see how this will become the ultimate test for Ari and make him and even better man and have a better finish in the Show finale.

All we have ever seen in Turtle fail at life and smoke tons of weed... I want him to succeed.

Same for Drama, ever since Towns ended for him I have wanted to see the next step.

All we have ever seen is Vince run through hoes like hangnails and he is finally with someone he has truly willing to sacrifice for. That is more realistic to IMO.

The plot for the show dictates this sequence of events. It depicts the life of a typical Hollywood Superstar. He Rises and falls. He doesn't last forever. This is the natural order and everyone should be upset with whats happened next because everyone has come to love Vinny and cast, but this is what happens

I predict big time jumps in the next season and a eventually Vince will fall into TV (a la Charlie Sheen/Drama) game over. Then if there is a movie... Big come back a la RDJ.

First off....chill out. It's just a tv show.

A coupe against a character we literally DID NOT SEE this season. How difficult would it have been to get George Segal to make one appearance this season? Hard to generate dramatic tension against an unseen person.

Ari is self destructing and potentially, for-real-this-time losing his wife

Again, most of us want to see ass-kicking, mad-as-hell Ari...not vulnerable Ari.

While it was an interesting plotline (and realistic with celebrities endorsing brands more and more these days), the 'conflict' at the end was never that dramatic to me.

The Sasha plotline was really bad (mostly because she's a terrible actress) and Vince's booze/coke habit was kinda predictable. Did anyone really not see how this season would end? It actually started off as a really interesting turn in his life at season's beginning: his adrenaline rush doing that car stunt led to a possible addiction to painkillers while it seemed to turn Vince into an adrenaline junkie. That was interesting and would have made an interesting season-long arc. Turning him into a cokehead who bangs a pornstar not so much.

You know what this season really missed: Lloyd. Not enough Lloyd this season.

Agreed. Loyd/Ari is the funnies thing this show ever had.

Personally I get bored if everything is always up or always down for someone. The guy is human and has great moments as well as bad moments. I like to see that this all poweful agent is actually vulnerable. It is reality.

I definitely agree that we needed more Lloyd.

crappy subplots aside - as a finale, the episode worked. we'll be watching next season.

Entourage has turned into more of a drama. But the mediocre episodes at best can only mean the movie will be wayyy better! Amirite?!

Steven Soderbergh thought so. But, everyone makes mistakes.

Didn't she win an academy award for that role?

I have seen the movie and thought it was rather boring do to Sasha Grey being a numb face.

I'm not realyl a fan of Sasha, but damned if her body didn't look BANGING in that skin tight pleather get-up during the photo shoot.

I get the feeling that they writers envision Ari as being the biggest powerbroker in the industry, but they don't have enough familiarity with that type of guy to know how he would act in real life.

Ari Emanuel is Mark Walhberg real life agent.

Ive always gotten the vibe that Vince was supposed to be on a Matt Damon, Brad Pitt level star. Maybe what those guys were 10 years.

Not quite a Will Smith that can command $20 million/movie but on his way to being an A-Lister.

+1.

I liked this season.

I thought last season was horrible and this season was a marked improvement.

I love entourage, but one of my problems with it in the past is how everything seems to work out for these guys....even when they are doing all this dumb chit.

Thats why I loved when Medellin bombed. Up until that point Im not sure if anything bad had happened to any of those guys....yet all the clue where there that E was right about the movie sucking and that Walsh was a lunatic.

I like the fact that some of these guys destructive behavior is really coming around to bite them in the ass.

I didnt know who the hell Sasha Grey was......but I thought they would cast a much hotter porn star.

I would not date her. My current girlfriend is hotter then she is, plus I couldnt get over all the fact that she's been with hundreds of guys.

Now if we were talking Nikki Benz, or Lisa Ann then I would be able to look past the fact they have done that many dudes.

Do any of you remember one of the episodes a few seasons ago when the guys were worried about not having enough money for a house and Vince said that the absolute worst case scenario is that if all else fails we will drive back to New York back to our old neighborhood. What if the series ended with the guys spending all of their money, Vince can't get work, and they all go back to the hood in NY? That might be a good ending.

Ya but he is a big time celebrity, therefore he'll probably just get rehab for it.

Just finished the Finale on my lunch break and I was just sad at how Vince just totally went down. My wife never liked Vince said he was too much like a b*tch. Now he just lost all control, charisma, and charm and starts really being a b*tch to everyone.

On the plus side Johnny punching Marshall was excellent.
