Many of the women in the movie have un natural hair color like blue or pink. Was this supposed to represent something or have some significance?

I've seen older ladies with bright red or purple hair before, but I don't think they were from the future. I think they just were going a bit color blind in their later years.

CO depicted how the Earth would be in the future. it was one of the most emorable movies of my youth (during the early 80s I saw it on Showtime).

There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

Personally, I like the book better.
