I saw Star Trek today (liked it a lot, well done). After leaving, I thought about the pricing of this matinee, $7 and the hot dog / coke combo, $10. I decided that in the future unless it's a MUST-SEE like TDK, LOTR, etc, I will wait for the DVD and rent from RedBox.

I asked the girl at the ticket booth (after she got off the phone with her friend, of course) when she thought movie tickets would be $1,000 but she just smiled.
