$79MM including Thursday night previews.

You heard it here first. Star Trek will out gross Transformers 2:Revenge of the Fallen.

For that to happen its going to have to make more than $300MM, which will be tough.

Anyone think Terminator will outgross Star Trek opening weekend? How about Wolverine?

My prediction for Terminator:

Thursday: $18MM
Friday: $22MM
Saturday: $28MM
Sunday: $24MM
Monday: $18MM

5-day: $110MM
4-day: $92MM
3-day: $74MM

Final gross of $225MM.

Wolverine will top out at $180MM
Star Trek will top out around $250MM

Transformers will take the summer at $350MM, followed by Potter at $320MM.

We're all way off on Terminator. T4 pretty much qualifies as a flop - it probably won't hit $150MM against a budget north of $200MM. It might make money worldwide but T5 looks like it might not happen. McG killed the franchise, not surprising!
